• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Sako Collectors Club Discussion Forum

Please be sure to share the info you receive from SakoSource on your Bee. Especially if it turns out to be one from the last batch of 20 that were shipped. Also kindly post some pics of your Bee. I'm sure that we would all enjoy seeing it.

Thanks

rick

Gentlemen collectors and aficionados- I have been absent from the forum for a LONG time but getting back to the L46 .22 Hornet I own- I wonder if there are now aftermarket detachable magazines that work in these firearms . Mine seems to be a 5 or 6 round mag. I have tried to follow some of the discussion, and it seems there are -or were- some available, however I could never be certain or determine the source.
Would someone be so kind as to educate me about this?

Hi Mango

Welcome back! They sometimes show up on Ebay and GunBroker. I would start there and you might just get lucky.

Hi Stone

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking that the stock looked a lot like a Model 72 version. Is that possible?

rick
So may I ask . . . what characteristics would a stock manufactured in the 60’s have, that would be comparable to a stock that was produced in 1972?
The 72’s were internal magazines only, and if they had a pistol grip cap, it made of a cheaper plastic, with no design.
Are you big fan of 72’s?
