Another Canadian proprietary Sako? Just saw this "Eatons Sako" for sale
Advertised as a
"Eaton Mod.100 Truline .308 WIN"
Eatons was a large cross-Canada department store that was around from 1869 to 1998. It was something like (and in Canada a competitor with) Sears (Simpson-Sears in Canada) or the Hudsons Bay Co. It had a similar large mail order catalogue. I think they sold a variety of firearms under their "Truline" brand name. I have no idea who actually assembled the Model 100 (Sako). Reproductions of early Eatons catalogues have been published but I don't know if the Truline guns appear in the ones published...It is generally the very early ones that are re-published.
It is in a gun store near Vancouver, B.C.
