• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

OK, so, Queens birthday long weekend, 9/10/11 June.

Main range is in use with a Silly Wet comp, but the Terry Obrien range appears to be free on Sun & Mon.

I'm thinking a BBQ near the dam to start with, and (if we can get the TOB range to use - be aware it's only 100m) some informal plinking afterwards.

So, expressions of interest?
Coming?
Sunday or Monday?
Kick the tin for food & drink or BYO?
What Sako's are you bringing along?
Just looking and socialising, or shooting? (if that's possible).

Maybe a different weekend might work better? Unfortunately I'm in Central Qld otherwise I'd try & attend.

Are there many Aussies on here?

I just saw this sorry I am rather slow.

I am hosting an Ausvarmint get together in September on private property
Might be an opportunity as well as not to far for Matt,Dave Chris,Aaron Wombat Marcus and Topgear .
If anyone would like to attend just let me know.

Every time I shoot at one, the projectile goes whistling over its head. Does that count?

Yes, I'm keen too. Sat & Sun are looking good.
But may have to pull a sickie to get there Friday.
Shall bring some interesting Aussie only Sako's.

Is the property big enough for a spot lighting buggy or is it walk & stalk?

Thanks for the invitation, and for organising it.

Cheers
Piper
