• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

I have acquired myself a Sako 85 hunter in .223 and would very much like to fit it with a synthetic stock. I wrote McMillan many months ago and received no reply, so I am not sure if they make them for the XS size?

If anyone has any other suggestions I would love to hear them, thank you.

I bought a Mcmilan hunter for my Sako 85 finnlight, they had two in stock that was december 2014.They have an online store.

G'day Ed
My primary concern is if that make one to fit the XS action, your finlite would be a larger caliber.
If they are unable to reply to an email, I would not dare use their store ;-)

I guess maybe I was persistant They only have one person that handles that online store.

LOL that could be a fair point, I'll be a little more persistant/annoying and see if that pays off :)
Thanks Ed

McBros is a big outfit, yet kinda small...I know that makes no sense. Call Kay Taylor-Biggs. She has been there a long time. I've bought all my mcbros stocks from her and they were for only Sako rifles. 623-582-9635

Thanks d500lnn

I failed to post here that Justin got back to me, I emailed a number of times and eventually it worked lol.

So now I'll see what Santa brings this year, as I'm sure that will be the soonest I get one lol.

Does anyone know if Kay is still there? I emailed a few weeks ago and got no where with the person that replied.
