• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Was the only bidder on these two at a non-gun auction. After hitting various shows and seeing expensive lovely Sako rifles beyond my budget I was surprised that no one in the room or on the internet was bidding. A Finnwolf, unfired, in my opinion, and a minimally fired Ithaca LSA-65. Keep the faith and good luck to all you Sako stalkers out there. 1F065A22-81E1-4E47-B7D6-E2160F435668.jpeg

Clovis -Congrats. Just goes to show you it is better to be lucky than good looking. Hope you post more pics when you can.

Cleaning and inspecting now between other duties. Will certainly post as I am only familiar with these rifles, but defer to the knowledgable members for info and advice. PS.....my good looking wife reminds me how lucky I am.

Congratulations. The Ithaca LSA-65 (Tikka M65) is a Deluxe grade and looks to be in really nice shape. What calibers are the two rifles?

The 65 is 270 win and the Finnwolf 308. Just started inspection and cleaning of the Ithaca and just noticed the barrel is marked “Bofors steel barrel”, and the Finnish proof on the action as well as the barrel.

Some non-professional photos. Noticed how white your spacers look. Mine seem yellowed. Any cleaning tips as I was more interested in cleaning the action and barrel which only needed three patches to remove light copper fouling.

Like a Sako in many regards. That LSA 65 looks and feels like Finland's quality. Stock fit and smooth bolt operation is something that always attracted me to the LSA line.
