All I can say is wow...and thanks. A quote from a Southern comedian comes to mind when I compare the knowledge of Sako experts in this forum (like you) to my Sako knowledge:ES, here's a list I put together of the different floorplate engravings I've seen. I feel certain there are probably some I haven't seen, so I doubt my list is complete. If you know of one I've not listed please let me know and I'll add it to the list.

Rocky posted a photo 2 years ago, of a DeLux floor plate that I have never seen before! I can’t believe that it wasn’t even really discussed..like it went unnoticed!

Bloo
Yes did see that double Sakolope and thought it was unique and I didn't see the fox on the list of floorplates , or is that only on the later model's ??…I guess no one cares…bummer

I am however exceptionally overburdened with "honeydo's" and trips to umpteen specialists to do that type of forum post justice. Give me a few weeks and I'll bore the snot out of most of you.…I guess no one cares…bummer
Rocky, my original early L579 deluxe had that heavy engraved gold "Sakolope" but the trigger guard had the more common scroll work.
