HI, all. I'm a new guy - at least to Sako.
I did have a Finnwolf decades ago that was so accurate it was scary. I have no idea why I needed to get rid of it. After that, I went to the gun store several times with a clear intention to buy a Model 75 but then came away with something else.
I just completed a sale through Gunbroker of a very nice Firearms Internation import L-579 Forester in 243. The previous owner says it's been fired maybe 95 times and it looks it. There's no rust or even blue wear, except on the Firearms International Washington DC stamp under the barrel near the forend.
I'm interested in a Vixen - something I've always wanted. My brother has one, but refuses to turn his back long enough for me to let it out to graze.
Thanks for what I've read so far in the forum - it helped me make this purchase.
