1. For reasons unknown to us at SCC, it seems that SCC members who are AT&T users experience issues with emails and personal messages when using our forum. This is not unique to SCC and several other internet sites are reporting the same issues. Todo10, the company who helps us with the forum and hosting, have file a complaint with AT&T but we are not convinced AT&T will do anything about it. The only way around this is to register and use another email address not connected to AT&T. We are sorry for any inconveniences this might cause! Please check this link for more info: https://forums.att.com/t5/AT-T-Internet-Email-Security/Blocked-Domain-Email-or-IP-address-Questions-and-Discussion/td-p/4961060/page/28 More info will come when we know more! With kind regards Jim aka L61R

I have a 222 & 223 with one FP that has a fox & pine tree engraved & the other FP has a fox & a leaf scroll. Just curious why the different engravings being both short actions.

There were many more than two engravings used. Many did not even have a fox but had pinecones with the tree & others had acorns with oak leaves. Lots of other engravings & combos used that don't seem to follow any "rules" for their selection or use.

Here's the link to the club's collection of Deluxe floorplates: sakopics.sakoparaphernalia.com As you can see, there is a plethora of designs, some of which we've only seen one or two examples. There tends to be more variations found on the long and medium actions, but there are several on the short action.

BTW, Jim informed me that he's going to try to get the link to the photos posted in a permanent place here on the forum so that it is easy to find.

    Amen to that Steve,

Can't wait to see some of the rarer designs.

I just spotted this on a well known auction site. The gun is a bit scuffed up /neglected but the floor plate is one you do not see often.
    I have no stake.
