1. For reasons unknown to us at SCC, it seems that SCC members who are AT&T users experience issues with emails and personal messages when using our forum. This is not unique to SCC and several other internet sites are reporting the same issues. Todo10, the company who helps us with the forum and hosting, have file a complaint with AT&T but we are not convinced AT&T will do anything about it. The only way around this is to register and use another email address not connected to AT&T. We are sorry for any inconveniences this might cause! Please check this link for more info: https://forums.att.com/t5/AT-T-Internet-Email-Security/Blocked-Domain-Email-or-IP-address-Questions-and-Discussion/td-p/4961060/page/28 More info will come when we know more! With kind regards Jim aka L61R

I purchased this .243 from MSG(Ret) Mowatt in the late 90's. He had purchased the rifle at the Spangdahlem Rod and Gun Club in 1964. The rifle had been put on hold for $88.50, however, the soldier who had put $10 down had left country and been discharged. So the Rod and Gun Club sold it to SGT Mowatt for $77.50. The Sergeant told me he had fired the rifle 4 times, 3 to sight in and one to bag a Roe Deer. Sergeant Mowatt kept the original Hang Tag and Provost Martial Registration which he passed on to me. The rifle remains in as new condition after all these years.

Sure looks like a keeper to me. Many thanks for sharing with us. Enjoy the rifle. It should serve you well for many years to come providing that you take good care of it along the way.

Well since the rifle is 56 years old and a dedicated safe queen, I will continue to take care of it as it will last a lot longer than I will. My son Eric has been briefed.
