• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Hi, is someone reloading for the .243 finnwolf? I started loading 100gr nosler partitions. Didn't made to the range yet.

What bullet weights dooe the finnwolf like.

Mine shot good with 105gr Geco factory ammo.

Regards

Being a fairly new member I just seen this. Most accurate load I’ve come up with is the Nosler 95 from. Ballistic tips. I’d have to look at powder I went with but I’m sure it was most accurate load tested in my nosler book

I have a 243 finnwolf that shoots 1” groups at 300 yards. It has been my favorite hunting rifle for 46 years. Get the 95 gr Berger classic hunter and set the length to 2.75 oal to just fit the clip and work up a load using hodgden H 4831sc powder , cci br2 primer, and Norma cases. My best load was well over max listed in hodgden manual but I worked up in 1/2 gr steps and checked for pressure signs. When I was several grains over the listed max my bullets stared making one ragged hole so I stopped but I never saw any pressure .The longer seating depth allows for more powder with less pressure and higher velocity. I’m looking to buy a new magneto speed chronograph and check the speed but I haven’t got it yet.
