• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Here is a not too shabby L469 HB in .222 Rem Mag custom stock in English walnut by a top craftsman. With most custom work it's the little details that make the big difference. The wood has much more color and character than shows in the photos. Scopes is Vintage 24X Redfield 3200 and the rig shots as good as it looks. DSC_0301.JPG DSC_0303.JPG DSC_0306.JPG DSC_0295.JPG

Hello Litetrigger 1,

What a beautiful rifle. Is the butt plate made of steel. Do you have the original stock?. Also one of my wish for calibres.

Mr. Blackjack, you have a good eye. Yep, the buttplate is steel. The curved shape with top tab makes it a challenge to fit but adds a classy look. Another classy touch, which may be somewhat overkill, are the sling studs embedded in ebony, as sh DSC00228.JPG DSC00229.JPG own in attached photo.

About a month ago I posted the above pics of my custom Sako .222 Rem Mag with vintage Redfield target scope. Happily, since then I finally located a set of original Sako extra high rings so I could mount a Leupold 6.5-20X scope, which has been a considerable improvement in looks and performance DSC_0185.JPG DSC_0181.JPG .

Very sweet indeed. Many thanks for sharing the pics. I wish more people (myself included) would take the time to post pics as good as yours.

Many Thanks

Amen to that Rick. I think this L469 is one of the most beautiful rifles ever posted. I am the most guilty for not posting photo's, but I hope to change that soon. I have been looking for a L469 over here in England Gt. Britain for many years. I missed one at an auction in the north of England around 2013 and have regretted that miss ever since. Any idea how many L469's were made? and over how many years? Once more Lite Trigger 1 thanks for posting your fabulous L469!
