• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Bought a Finwolf in 243 with 123xx serial #.
Looks like it came complete.
Three cartridge mag, front sight hood, mounts I've never seen before, bright yellow but plate spacer , sling mounts

I put 20 rounds through the rifle at various distances . Using the existing open sights. I'll need better optics if I want to get serious about shooting this rifle.
The scope mounts are completely foreign to me. Nothing like I've seen before.

Can't open your IMG, so can't tell what your mounts are. If they are tapered dovetails & the front one is wider that the back one, then that is the Sako system that uses the Sako or Leupold one piece ringmounts.

Yes tapered dovetails. And I'll need Leupold/Sako ringmounts.
Thanks

Thanks for the picture - as Paulson said from the picture it appears someone added a coat of finish to the stock and got it on the spacer but a nice gun with original scope bases and rear sight.
congrats

I mounted my Weaver T24 target scope on the Finnwolf .
Went to the range for a quick sight-in. Not enough time for a full range but had it hitting the t300 yrd gong consistently.

Had to dismantle the rear sight. Lucky for me the scope fit , just, with the base on the barrel. The screws holding down the base have been well buggered up.
